Dosage form
Solution for injection 200mg / ml.
Description
Transparent liquid of light yellow color with a weak odor.
Structure
1 ml of solution contains:
Active ingredients: Boldenone Undecylenate 200mg.
Auxiliary components: ethyl oleate.
Pharmacotherapeutic group
Anabolic / androgenic steroids.
Pharmacological properties
Boldenone is a methandrostenolone molecule that lacks the 17 alpha methyl group. Due to this, methandrostenolone passes through the liver unchanged, i.e. less toxic. Simply put, as the instructions for use say, boldenone is a synthetic steroid anabolic in the form of an injection, a derivative of the male sex hormone testosterone, but superior in pharmacological action. For example, due to the greater amount of 5b-metabolites, it significantly increases erythropoiesis. At the same time, it stimulates appetite to a greater extent than other hormones, which classifies Boldenone as an anabolic drug.
The chemical structure of a substance is a testosterone molecule with a double bond between 1 and 2 carbon atoms. This modification gave the drug exceptional anabolic power, comparable to that of pure testosterone, but with less pronounced androgenic properties. Here is the steroid profile in relation to pure testosterone: anabolic rate -100%; androgenic - 50%.
Indications for use
Loss of muscle mass after surgery, prolonged infections, serious illness, overdose of corticosteroid drugs, or during recovery. Sarcopenia (natural age-related loss of muscle mass), some cases of chronic hepatitis and breast cancer (mainly as an adjunct to other treatments); increased muscle growth in underweight premature infants and children in clinical cases.
Method of administration and dosage
Please consult with your healthcare professional or pharmacist, and read the information on the product packaging.
In case of loss of muscle mass after surgery, prolonged infections, serious illness, overdose of corticosteroid drugs or during the recovery period, this drug must be taken at a dosage of 100-200 mg per week
Side effects
Although boldenone is about half as androgenic as testosterone, women are advised to refrain from using it. Like all anabolic steroids, boldenone increases the level of "bad" cholesterol in the blood. Boldenone is well suited for those people who cannot tolerate highly androgenic drugs. The enzyme 5a-reductase converts a small amount of boldenone into dihydroboldenone, which is a fairly potent anabolic (twice "stronger" than testosterone), while testosterone is converted by this enzyme into the strongest androgen, dihydrotestosterone, which is responsible for most of the androgenic side effects of testosterone. It is because of the inability to convert to dihydrotestosterone that the drug practically does not cause such androgenic side effects as baldness, acne, prostate hypertrophy, etc., and also to a lesser extent suppresses the production of testosterone in the body (only in therapeutic dosages).
With boldenone injections (especially in the case of high dosages), acne often occurs in the chest, back and shoulders. But fortunately, this manifestation can be easily eliminated by applying special lotions or antibacterial soap. In most situations, athletes who use boldenone in combination with other drugs with high androgenic activity have been reported to have side effects.
It is not uncommon for boldenone to cause acne in the chest, shoulders and back. If acne occurs, you should watch your skin, bathe daily, use all kinds of hygienic body lotions and antibacterial soaps.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity, prostate cancer, malignant breast tumors in men, breast carcinoma in women with hypercalcemia (able to activate osteoclasts and cause bone resorption), pregnancy (has embryotoxicity, fetotoxicity, can cause musculinization of the female fetus); acute and chronic liver diseases, incl. alcoholic lesions; nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, breastfeeding.
Overdose
Symptoms: hepatotoxicity and intoxication. During intoxication, sweating, nausea, and vomiting may occur. These symptoms can be eliminated by reducing the dose.
Treatment: in case of signs of poisoning, induce vomiting or gastric lavage, prescribe activated charcoal and a laxative, and consult a doctor.
Intoxication and hepatotoxicity are more likely in elderly patients and especially in young children (therapeutic overdose or accidental intoxication can be very dangerous for them).
Precautions
To achieve the optimal therapeutic effect during the treatment period, the patient should receive adequate amounts of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals with food.
When using nandrolone in high doses at puberty, premature closure of growth zones and growth arrest are possible. Acceleration of the epiphyseal growth of tubular bones can be observed in children both during treatment and 6 months after discontinuation of nandrolone.
To control the condition of the epiphyseal growth zones of tubular bones in children and adolescents, it is recommended to conduct an X-ray examination every 6 months.
During treatment with nandrolone, intraocular pressure should be carefully monitored.
In the course of treatment, systematic monitoring of the concentration of calcium ions, cholesterol in the blood (especially in patients with concomitant pathology of the cardiovascular system), hematocrit, hemoglobin, and serum phosphorus concentration is necessary.
In some cases, against the background of the use of nandrolone, violations of the indicators of some functional liver tests are observed. Therefore, liver function should be monitored every 4 weeks.
Interaction with other medicinal products
Boldenone should be prescribed with caution against the background of the use of indirect antiplatelet agents and anticoagulants (their effect may be enhanced), hypoglycemic drugs (their hypoglycemic effect may be enhanced).
Boldenone can be used in combination therapy with GCS, tuberculostatic and cytostatic drugs.
Weakens the effects of somatotropic hormone and its derivatives (accelerates the mineralization of the epiphyseal growth zones of tubular bones).
GCS and mineralocorticoids, corticotropin, sodium-containing drugs and foods rich in sodium, increase (mutually) fluid retention in the body, increase the risk of edema, and increase the severity of acne.
Simultaneous administration with gspatotoxic drugs increases the risk of liver dysfunction.
Special instructions
Peliosis of hepatitis can occur in patients receiving anabolic steroids. These cysts may be present with minimal liver dysfunction, but they are associated with a liver defect. Symptoms are often not recognized until a life-threatening liver problem or intra-abdominal bleeding develops. Discontinuation of anabolic steroid treatment usually leads to complete disappearance of the lesions. Tumors in liver cells have also been reported. Many of these tumors are benign and estrogen dependent, but fatal malignant tumors have also been reported; discontinuation of the drug may lead to regression or cessation of tumor development. Even though androgen-related or anabolic steroid-related liver tumors, they are much more vascular than other liver tumors and may not appear until life-threatening intra-abdominal hemorrhage develops. Changes in blood lipids associated with an increased risk of arteriosclerosis in patients taking androgens and anabolic steroids. These changes include a decrease in high density lipoprotein changes and sometimes an increase in low density lipoprotein. The changes can be very noticeable and should seriously affect the risk of changes in blood lipids associated with an increased risk of arteriosclerosis in patients taking androgens and anabolic steroids
Pregnancy and elbowing
This drug should not be used during pregnancy and lactation.
During pregnancy, the drug can cause virilization in female fetuses.
During breastfeeding, it is not known how anabolic steroids are excreted in breast milk. In accordance with the adverse reactions that may occur in infants, it is necessary to decide whether to stop breastfeeding or stop taking the drug.
